Window Boards

What Are Window Boards?

Window boards are horizontal surfaces installed at the base of windows, providing protection against condensation and moisture while offering a decorative finish. Whether you prefer a sleek, modern look or a more traditional design, our window boards provide the perfect balance of style and function.

Durability and Materials

Our high-quality window boards are made from MDF, a material known for its durability and resistance to warping. MDF provides a smooth surface, perfect for painting or staining to match your interior decor. If you're looking for more moisture-resistant options, check out our Plastic Skirting Boards, which are ideal for areas exposed to higher humidity.

Customisation and Finishes

We offer window boards for sale in various profiles and finishes to suit different interior styles. Whether you want a simple, modern look or something more ornate, our range includes options to fit your design preferences. For a more minimal finish, you may like our Chamfered Skirting Boards, which offer clean, sleek lines.

Best Uses for Window Boards

Window boards are essential for protecting the interior of your home from moisture and condensation while adding a finishing touch beneath windows. They’re perfect for kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms where window sills are constantly exposed to condensation. To complement your window boards, consider pairing them with our Bullnose Skirting Boards, which provide a rounded and elegant edge throughout the room.

Installation Tips

Installing window boards is straightforward but requires precise measurements to ensure a proper fit. Use adhesive to secure the boards in place and ensure that they sit flush with the window frame. For an extra polished look, you may want to use Plinth Blocks to frame the base of your doors and windows.
