Oak Door Thresholds

Oak thresholds for the join between two floors. Choose a flat threshold strip where both floors sit at the same height, a ramp or reducer where one floor is higher than the other, or an L profile to finish an exposed floor edge.

Every profile comes in 0.9 m and 2.7 m lengths and can be stained, oiled or varnished to match your floor. Sizes and height differences are listed on each product.

Oak Door Thresholds FAQ

The common questions, answered — so you order the right profile first time.

If both floors are the same height, use a flat threshold strip. If one floor is higher, use a ramp or a reducer sized to the height difference. To finish a floor edge that is left exposed, use an L profile.

Both bridge two floors at different heights. Our ramps (K profile) are sized by the height difference, at 7 mm, 15 mm or 20 mm. Our reducers (R profile) step down from one floor thickness to another, at 15 mm to 9 mm or 20 mm to 10 mm.

Every profile comes in 0.9 m and 2.7 m lengths.
