Overview
Natural grain, structural integrity, and the warmth of real wood at the heart of every door opening — the Timber Door Lining is supplied as a complete jamb, head, and stop-bead kit in premium softwood (typically Pine) or hardwood (typically Sapele or Meranti). Left unprimed and ready to finish to your specification, whether that's paint, stain, wax, or a clear protective coat.

Specified by joiners, fit-out contractors, and restoration specialists hanging timber doors where the lining itself is part of the finished aesthetic. FSC® certified timber, machined in Epsom, Surrey, and delivered nationwide in 5–7 working days. Fits standard door openings.

Delivered within 5–7 working days, kerbside, Monday to Friday. Delivery is from £30 (London and Surrey), £34.55 (Wales), £41.45 (rest of England) and £51.45 (Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands), shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. We can’t currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Free collection from our Epsom workshop.

Returns & Cancellations

Made-to-order lengths are machined to your specification, so they can’t be cancelled or returned once production has started unless faulty or damaged. Stock items (adhesives, tools and accessories) can be returned unused within 14 days. Please check your delivery on arrival and report any transit damage within 24 hours.

What are your mouldings made from?

Every MR Mouldings profile is machined from premium MDF — a stable, paint-ready engineered timber. MDF holds detail cleanly, won't split or warp like softwood, and finishes to a glass-smooth surface once primed.

Are your products FSC® certified?

Yes. All MR Mouldings MDF is FSC® certified, sourced from responsibly managed forests. Certification documents are available on request for trade and architectural specifiers.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are delivered within 5–7 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Delivery is kerbside by courier or pallet. Delivery is from £30 (London and Surrey), £34.55 (Wales), £41.45 (rest of England) and £51.45 (Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands), shown at checkout when you enter your postcode. We can’t currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.

Collection from our Epsom workshop is free and usually ready within 3–5 working days.

Do you offer fire-rated mouldings?

Yes. We supply Euroclass B fire-rated MDF mouldings for HMOs, communal areas and other regulated buildings. Fire-rated profiles carry “Fire Rated” in the product name and are grouped in our Fire Rated MDF collection. Contact us for a project quote or certification.

What's your returns policy?

Made-to-order lengths are machined to your specification, so they can’t be returned or cancelled once production has started unless they arrive faulty or damaged — in which case we replace them at our cost. Stock items such as adhesives, tools and accessories can be returned unused within 14 days. Full terms are on our returns page.

How should I store the mouldings before fitting?

Let your mouldings acclimatise flat in the room they'll be fitted in for at least 48 hours before installation. Keep them off bare concrete or damp floors and away from direct radiators.

Do they come pre-primed and ready to paint?

You choose. Select Primed when configuring your product and it arrives factory-primed and lightly sanded, ready for a top coat. Select Non Primed for raw MDF you prime yourself. Either way, a light scuff with fine-grit paper between coats gives the smoothest finish.
